The Who, What, Where and Why
Twilio is looking for a hands on Architect for their Billing Platform who will be instrumental to own and design high transaction platform for quote to cash. This role require expertise with scalable data pipelines (Kafka, Kinesis and Spark) to deliver real-time, low latency capabilities for next generation Billing Platform. You will need to be able to think at scale, and meet high availability goals, bringing a focus on solving resiliency, latency and quality challenges in our virtualized cloud environment and and you are comfortable with managing large database clusters (e.g. mysql, postgres), and next generation distributed data stores.. You bring experience with complex distributed systems, working in a Java production system, and comfort with Python. Bachelor's degree in a computer science related field is a minimum requirement.
A great day for you would be working alongside multiple but collaborative teams, building solution for E2E quote to cash solution to support Twilio’s multiple product lines from revenue recognition point of view. You will be helping team to design solutions to support millions of transaction and issuing accurate invoicing for our customers. At the same time, you will be helping more junior developers by mentoring them, providing guidance, and positively influencing their careers.
