Launched in July 2017, Shopify Gold was created to make enterprise commerce in India simple. We give high growth, high volume merchants the scalability, reliability and flexibility they need to become successful here in India. Shopify Gold is helping power commerce for many high growth companies such as Royal Enfield, John Jacobs, Alicia Souza, and The Man Company. We believe large merchants should love their commerce platform and we work hard each day to make that happen.

As a Shopify Gold Sales Person, your mission will be to find creative new ways to get Shopify to those who need us most. We’re open to remote candidates located in hub cities within India, with initial on-boarding will be conducted in our Bangalore Office.

Responsibilities

  • Creating innovative new ways of selling Shopify Gold to high-growth merchants in India
  • Impacting Shopify Gold's success as well as the entire sales industry
  • Developing relationships with industry leaders and solving their pain-points
  • Racking up experience equivalent to a real world MBA
  • Making the most of the opportunity to work at an amazing, innovative, and rapidly growing company; have an impact; be involved and do something incredible!

Requirements for the role

  • 2+ years of experience within a sales or lead generation environment, preferably in SaaS
  • A sense of adventure and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Intelligence and a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Self-discipline and the ability to stay focused amongst the chaos
  • A passion for talking to people, understanding their unique business needs, and showing them how to 10X their business
  • A love for trying new things, iterating, and then diving in again - all at a super fast pace
  • Exceptional phone presence, and written communication skills; comfortable making cold calls
  • One must demonstrate strong business acumen, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

Bonus Experience

  • Experience working with Salesforce, or other CRMs
  • Digital marketing experience
