So, what's the job?

You’ll help us expand our understanding of our existing customer base and use it to prospect for new leads and generate new lists of prospects to feed into our sales channel. It will be your job to turn the data we’re amassing about our customers into actionable insights and clearly communicate your findings across the team. It's a cross-functional role, with diverse topics to work on alongside people in various roles, with an emphasis on seeing projects all the way through. You will:

  • Help us build a modern sales organization from the ground up, based on data and automation
  • Build modern lead generation models, by identifying growth opportunities based on our current customer base, and automating the initial steps of prospecting and lead generation
  • Help us scale custom pricing across an ever-evolving product
  • Enable the team to scale by building a foundation based on performance data, and helping set actionable KPIs
  • Follow up on progress against our KPIs and objectives by creating dashboards and providing updates at team meetings

About you

  • Experience with product analysis (examples of analysing customer data to inform successful product changes - using SQL, Excel, Python etc to do this)
  • You have an urge to build something new and scale it, and you relish the personal responsibility
  • Excellent communication skills - you can summarise the complex, and present data visually in a way that makes people say “got it!”
  • You go beyond the numbers and understand what the customer is thinking, combining data analysis with customer empathy and not afraid to pick up the phone and talk to our customers
  • You live up to the TransferWise values and have a deep knowledge of our product (or want to)
  • You’re a self-starter who’s comfortable working autonomously and with teams located across our offices
  • You're confident working towards goals with a broad remit to get there
  • Analysts at TransferWise pick the best tools for the job. Besides solid SQL and Excel, you are familiar with either Python or R, and you are keen to learn the tools needed for a given task
