Who?

Twilio is looking for a Commercial Contact Center Sr. Sales Engineer who is both highly technical and has strong business acumen. The role of the Twilio Contact Center Sr. Sales Engineer is crucial to the successful execution of our go-to-market strategy.

Sales Engineers at Twilio have a passion for designing, building, and selling technology solutions to wide variety of companies, both small and large. You should feel comfortable advising and presenting to everyone from startup founders, to developers, to C-level executives. You will be joining a tight knit team of highly skilled and experienced SEs and we’ll be looking at you to take the team to a higher level of performance.

Commercial Contact Center Sr. Sales Engineer candidates should have:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience (technical sales or consulting)
  • At least 1 year directly working in the contact center space
  • Experience helping customers with contact center migrations from on prem to cloud or from cloud to cloud

What?

A great day for you would be working closely with the commercial sales team, product management, and customers to craft innovative, flexible, and scalable solutions that help customers transform their engagement strategy through the adoption of the Twilio platform. Throughout the sales cycle, you’ll focus on helping customers gain confidence in the Twilio platform by articulating the value of our APIs, the Super Network and the engagement cloud.

As a Twilio Contact Center Sr. Sales Engineer, you will partner with the customer in deep-dive technical design sessions where you will advise on best practices for building enterprise communication  solutions in the cloud. As a result of these deep dives, you will create professional presentations and architecture specifications that you will present to customers.

As a customer advocate, you will be their voice back to our Product and Engineering organization.  You will distill their requirements so as to help drive Twilio product strategy.
