Marketing Manager

Position Overview:

As the Marketing Manager at MemSQL, you will work across the marketing team (content, demand generation, communications, field/event, and product marketing) as an integral part of the development and execution of our marketing efforts. In this role you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse set of projects and initiatives based on your skill-set, interests, and the business needs. You'll have visibility into the various disciplines within marketing and will learn the tools and tactics needed to build world-class marketing programs. You will be an essential part of a growing marketing team, with a strong potential for career development and advancement.       

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide broad marketing support with an initial emphasis on demand generation, event marketing, social media, and industry research and analysis
  • Use marketing automation tools to build, test, and send emails and promotions
  • Create landing pages for new offers and events
  • Support our webinar program including setup, registration, promotion, moderation, execution, and follow-up
  • Help to manage social accounts through our social media management platform (Buffer)
  • Support the planning and execution of marketing events
  • Contribute to written marketing communications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced marketing organization
  • Experience using a Marketing Automation system
  • Experience using Salesforce
  • A bias towards action and “getting things done” to a high standard
  • A strong analytical and creative mindset
