Your Day

You’ll have the opportunity to sell and talk about one of the fastest growing software companies in the world that candidates are excited to hear about. You’ll be looking for mostly technical backgrounds globally to work full-time at Pivotal. You’ll work with a global team that will help to make you successful and will be there to help. You’ll have the opportunity to focus on new and innovative recruiting strategies and learn and be challenged.



  • Source through all possible methods including Linkedin Recruiter, head hunting, tech talks, career/job fairs, data mining, meet-ups, resume databases, appropriate social media, networking, cold calling, warm calling, etc.
  • Provide a great candidate experience and act as a candidate advocate.
  • Propose and drive continuous improvement effort and strategy.  
  • Solicit feedback from Recruiters and hiring managers to improve selection process and quality of referred candidates
  • Fully comprehend Pivotal’s products, technologies, our mission and strategy and have the ability to represent our culture and our values when recruiting or representing the organization
  • Use available Applicant Tracking System to process candidates including detailed notes, approvals, offers, etc

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years Technical Recruiting experience, ideally with a software vendor background
  • Proven direct sourcing/head hunting capability
  • Proven sourcing skills, using a variety of methods
  • Experience working with all disciplines and levels within a high-tech organization
  • Experience with excelling in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple tasks
  • Proven and excellent attention to detail and follow through
  • Knowledge and experience in a wide range of current recruiting policies, practices, and trends and the ability to grasp new technologies
