What you’ll be doing

Reporting into our Content Marketing Manager, as Video Marketing Specialist you’ll be responsible for developing video content and contributing to the strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement and customer acquisition. In this role you’ll get the opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders and experts, including the marketing team and external freelancers/agencies, to meet our goals. You’ll lead Video by overseeing, commissioning and producing video across all platforms for Envato, from Facebook to YouTube. As well as excellent production and editing skills, you’ll also have a strong understanding of how video supports other marketing channels (e.g. SEO and email), alongside the needs of the wider business.
 

What we’re looking for

  • A minimum of 3 years of video production experience, preferably in a commercial setting.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite including video, photo and audio editing.
  • An understanding of how video content can drive strong  commercial outcomes, as well as increase brand reach and engagement.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing and SEO principles.
  • Experience in managing a large YouTube account.
  • An excellent grasp of trends and audience behaviour relating to video and content marketing. (Experience of using video research tools, e.g. VidIQ, preferable).
  • Ability to work to varied deadlines and flexible in responding to urgent business needs.
  • Sound analytical capabilities including Google Analytics, as well as YouTube KPIs.
  • Comfortable managing video equipment and operational elements of video production.
