Who we’re looking for?
A midweight 2D / 3D motion designer who wants to create the best work of their career.
Main responsibilities
- Work with our Creative and Design Directors to create innovative new design ideas to explore the future of branding.
- Come up with inspired ideas across different media and applications and effectively communicate them through images, storyboards and videos.
- Create 3D, 2D and motion assets to support the design exploration process or help bring our clients’ branding to life.
- Work with partners and vendors to create work of the highest international standard.
- Inspire, engage, and mentor our team of designers across the region.
- Present our work directly to clients and create trusted working relationships.
- In a design world that’s always changing, you keep your finger on the pulse of the latest in creative technology and share your knowledge
Your experience
- 4 - 6 years’ experience.
- Breadth of experience – having created great work for big international brands, small arts organisations and everything in between.
- You should have some experience not only producing work, but also coming up with and pitching ideas and concepts.
- Award winning work, not a must but always lovely to see!
Your skills
- You are a generalist 3D and 2D Motion designer comfortable in Cinema 4D and AfterEffects. You are familiar with common plugins like XParticles, Mograph, Trapcode Suite, Optical Flares etc as well as GPU renderers, preferably Redshift.
- You have dabbled in / are interested / want to learn more about: creative coding, mixed reality, real-time graphics etc.
- You are uncompromising when it comes to the quality of the work you produce
- You are comfortable overseeing a production from start to end, from concepts to storyboard to production to compositing and delivery.
- You are confident in expressing yourself, able to convince and compel in English and preferably another language (Mandarin or Cantonese)
