We are looking for a dynamic Account Executive to join our Public Sector - Talent Solutions team, tapping into new potential Government client opportunities and bringing value to our existing customers

You will be responsible for strategically approaching senior level HR stakeholders within Public Sector; helping them identify the value they can see from our solutions to meet their current and future needs.

You will also be responsible for helping our existing customers in Government organisations to effectively engage with the LinkedIn network using our professional Talent Solutions suite and to seek out opportunities for growth from your pipeline.

Although you possess a strategic approach to selling and strive to meet/exceed revenue goals, you will always have your clients’ best interests in mind and act as their internal advocate to ensure they are set up for success.

What will a typical day look like?

  • Drive revenue by prospecting and building pipeline while building strong personal relationships with potential and existing Public Sector clients
  • Close business consistently at or above quota level
  • Develop and execute on a strategic plan for the territory and create reliable forecasts
  • Work to develop and circulate the set of best practices that will be the foundation of this pivotal, growing team
  • Listen to the needs of the market and share with our product and marketing teams

Travel required approx. 30% of the time

What key skills and experience do you need?

Basic qualifications

  • Strong quota-carrying business development and/or account management experience
  • Executive presence with exceptional skills selling into C-suite e.g. Director Generals
  • Enterprise sales experience
  • Natural ability to build trust quickly with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in an agile industry e.g. SaaS, tech, telco
  • Passion for LinkedIn’s vision, mission and solutions
  • Strong negotiation and accurate forecasting skills

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience selling into C-Suite HR or Recruitment professionals
  • Demonstrated ability to find, manage and close high-level business in an evangelistic sales environment
  • Experience selling IT or recruiting solutions
  • Experience in recruiting, recruitment media or HR software
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly build a high level of trust with prospects and internal stakeholders
  • Proven experience as a key contributor in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Comfort using insights to inform decision-making and influence others
