The Team

The Technical Solutions team is responsible for qualifying, integrating and maintaining accounts for the largest marketers in the world. 

The solutions engineers are experts in the inner workings of Criteo's best-in-class technology – they have the ability to easily guide a technical integration and employ superlative communication and project management skills to launch and extend partnerships. 

They interact with all members of the operations team which includes Creative Services and Analytics, partnering with Sales, Account Strategy, Business Development, Product and Research & Development. 

They are, for the most part, former software engineers that made the switch to a dynamic role that allows them to leverage their existing technical skills as well as to hone their client-facing skills. 

They make decisions that affect the trajectory of the company and create business connections in the advertising community all while working for one of the hottest companies in the ad-tech industry!

 

The Role

This Senior Technical Solutions Engineer is a role that requires a versatile skillset. The role allows the candidate to gain experience helping guide other engineers as well as work with some of the largest advertisers in the region forging important business connections.

The role works in partnership with local and commercial operations management teams as well as the regional Technical Solutions team to deliver quality solutions, quick order-to-cash flow, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have finely tuned communication skills, a penchant for never saying "no" and searching for creative solutions, an excellent business instinct, burgeoning leadership skills, and the ability to work outside their comfort zone to push the business forward.


Responsibilities:

 

  • Support the commercial teams in the pre-sales stage.
  • Manage and coordinate the technical integrations of new clients and partners
  • Support the optimization of our partners online marketing program by leading the technical implementations of features to help ensure long-term success of the campaign. 
  • Build relationships with the Product and R&D teams to ultimately help push the boundaries of the Criteo offering.
  • Lead custom projects in the form of proof-of-concepts in order to build business cases and make product and/or feature requests.
  • Maintain an understanding of Criteo's product line and roadmap from a commercial and technical perspective and act as technical expert for the local management team.
  • Work in close relationship with Sales, Account Strategy, and others to devise and implement successful revenue growth strategies. Attend Quarterly Business Reviews with top clients as necessary.
  • Display excellent communication skills to help the Sales team evangelize products and win new business.
  • Train, ramp up, and mentor junior members of the team.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • 3-4 years’ experience in solution, integration, sales engineering or customer support.
  • At least in the digital ad one year of experience technology industry.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, and SQL; and experience in software development.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, particularly in conveying technical concepts in a way that is easy for clients and non-technical partners to understand.
  • Hard working, team-oriented, bright, creative, cooperative, and exceptional problem solving skills.
  • Early adopter to technology, passion and interest in global e-commerce markets.
  • Highly organized and able to set expectations.
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Fluent in English
