As the Radio Specialist Sales Executive for our growing NSW market, you will act as a key leader in our market for reaching top advertisers for Pandora. We are focused on developing a seamless ad platform for Australia’s top brands and companies through the power of Pandora Internet Radio. Reporting to the Sales Director for NSW, this role will focus on developing long-term relationships with the top direct radio clients in the Sydney market through your hunter mentality and radio experience growing share for Pandora in this space.
You will be part of a high-performing proactive sales team that is just at the beginning of the Pandora journey in Australia; real impact and huge success is at your fingertips. Members of this team gain broad exposure to a robust range of Pandora products and people as we're identifying and implementing solutions that best suit the unique needs of our agencies, their clients, and Australian businesses.
Proven experience in a highly proactive and dynamic sales environment is a huge advantage as this is not a reactive Account Management role.
You will need to deliver against assigned quarterly targets on new and existing business, delivering best in market customer service for your customer base.
Provide accurate and timely forecasts of achievements to budgets and goals
Take responsibility for and strengthen relationships with direct clients and some smaller retail focused agencies from executive level down to specific marketing managers and buyers.
Be proactive in driving awareness of our audio products to current radio advertisers.
Build compelling, data-driven long term media plans leveraging internal and third-party data, while driving new business opportunities in the development of a prospect list of high potential new business relationships.
Be an ongoing thought partner for our Commercial Director and Sales Director (your Manager) on strategic initiatives and agency-level planning.
Grow direct business via driving scalable product offerings and business growth across a broad portfolio of categories.
Act as Pandora company ambassador to the market, building key and strategic relationships with thought leaders and key influencers in our field.
Excellent presentation and storytelling ability with polished communication skills are essential.
Experience in identifying new business and managing the sales process from lead generation, appointment setting, client proposals, contracts and other required documentation.
The capability to develop strategic objectives that identify both short and long-term opportunities for business growth at Pandora as well as revenue management.
A passion and interest in media, technology and entertainment.

Relevant tertiary degree or equivalent practical experience.
2+ years of relevant experience in direct radio sales or business development.
Proven track record of developing new business relationships and successfully driving new direct client business opportunities.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues and develop recommendations and action plans.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM highly desirable.
