Customer Success Manager

The position

As a Customer Success Manager, you'll find yourself balancing between support and sales. Support, as you manage the process of onboarding new users. You lead a team of support members that provide our users with support via chat, email and phone. Sales is equally important, as you handle inside sales like upselling and cross selling to existing clients - all to increae Net Promoter Score of our service. Your position requires organizational and leadership skills, as you coordinate the communication between users and other team members. User onboarding and user engagement are great fun: you'll learn to work with automation tools, setup an international support team, and optimize individual team performance. With this, we will challenge you to train, manage, and motivate an award-winning support team!


Daily routine

From our office in Amsterdam, we work with tools like Trello (to/do, tasks), Slack (company chat), Intercom (customer chat), and Groove (support tickets). You’ll be in charge of incoming signups, and converting them into happy customers. By making smart segments in Intercom, you track customers in need of a bigger plan, or that could use additional services like job advertisements.


From time to time, you take a step back and measure the overall effectiveness of our user onboarding process. You optimize automated emails, you track conversion rates, and you improve email campaigns. On a weekly basis, you report your overall experience and improvements to our head of product. You’ll work closely with our marketing team, to learn about user interaction and improve the overall conversion into paid accounts.

  • Improve automated onboarding content
  • Help design/set up career sites for users
  • Measure, improve, and report on conversion rates
  • Hire, train, and motivate other support members

Salary indication

Depending on your expertise, the gross salary will be in the range of €2000-3000 with additional sales commission if targets are met.
