The Role:

Data and our ability to leverage it is seen and championed as a key competitive advantage from our CEO on down. We are looking for a top tier data engineer work with our data science team on building out proprietary tools and models around our customer and asset data (both internal and external sets)


  • Develop and expand the graph database architecture
  • Work with our data scientists to help them productionize data science models
  • Help with the integration and automation of new internal and external data sets into the a platform
  • Develop data quality checks and data cleaning tools

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 5+ Years’ Experience in data engineering, including 2 years in a modern data stack environment,
  • Proven ability to hire exceptional talent
  • Strong recent experience in:
    • Graph Databases, e.g. neo4j
    • Hadoop
    • Relational Databases
    • Deduping algorithms, fuzzy matching and Data Normalization
    • Search
    • External data sets
  • Bonus points for Development experience in:
    • Restful API Development
    • Javascript/HTML
    • Clickstream data
    • Machine Learning
    • Streaming Data
    • Elastic Search
    • Image Data
  • Experience with iterative Agile methodologies and use of supporting tools like JIRA, Confluence and Git
  • Good communication skills across both technology and non-technology functions
  • Educational background in Computer Science or equivalent degree preferred
