What You’ll Be Doing

 

The Website Specialist is responsible for publishing, updating, and ensuring integrity of the content on Code42’s corporate websites.

 

This role collaborates closely with Content, Marketing Operations, Field and Channel Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Development teams to incorporate visual design and content into functional web pages, landing pages, and other digital channels. Other responsibilities may include optimizing pages for search engines, presenting a superior user experience, and expertly managing the corporate WordPress site.

 

The Website Specialist is a key position within the Digital Marketing team whose charter includes enhancing Code42’s digital presence, driving brand awareness, increasing engagement with prospects and customers.

 

You’ll Be Responsible For

 

  • Continuously improving the website content and functionality including frequent updates and enhancements in WordPress
  • Coordinating closely with Design, Development, and other teams to ensure timely, accurate, and on-brand delivery of web content
  • Developing landing pages for various marketing initiatives as required
  • Plan and execute site experience-related A/B tests
  • Monitor and optimize key site experiences including the free trial and interactive content assets
  • Ensuring all site content aligns to the customer and/or buyer’s journey
  • Providing website training and best practices communications
  • Partnering with Development team on required maintenance, revisions, updates, and improvements of digital properties
  • Tracking and analyzing web statistics; compiling statistics and metrics for Code42’s measurement, learning, and evaluation programs
  • Working with external agencies in the development and execution of project deliverables
  • Supporting the road map for development, implementation, and management of a user experience and web content strategy that supports organizational goals
  • Identifying opportunities that improve digital communication effectiveness
  • Troubleshooting website problems and actively recommending improvement and optimization opportunities

 

Skills and Requirements

 

  • Bachelors degree in journalism, marketing, communications, computer science, or related field
  • 3-5 years in digital marketing/communications with strong content management system background
  • History of managing website features/functionality and creating digital web experiences for B2B or B2C brands
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate on large scale technology projects working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of marketing automation and CRM platforms
  • Proven track record of ensuring brand, identity, and voice are championed via digital communications
  • Fluency with Google Analytics and other analytics/reporting tools
  • Ability to set schedules, meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks and work as part of a team
  • Accustom to meeting fluctuating demands and adapting to frequently changing priorities
  • Keen understanding of interactive marketing trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
  • Proactive team player with solid personal communication skills
  • Functional knowledge of HTML, CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office

 

Preferred

 

  • Experience working in an Agile environment in a cross-functional team
  • Enterprise experience
  • Basic understanding of SEO best practices
