Business Development Manager

"Strategically drive client acquisitions and form strong partnerships"

Key Responsibilities

  • To identify, qualify, pursue and close sales opportunities and effectively communicate WebEngage's solutions to a wide range of clients.
  • Assist in the development and execution of a sales strategy to drive sales growth.
  • Establish, cultivate and nurture a sales pipeline
  • Agree and deliver sales targets.
  • Utilise business development techniques to pro-actively identify, qualify, pursue and close sales opportunities and promote WebEngage's range of solutions to existing and prospective clients.
  • Initiate and maintain strong client relationships for future retention and return business.
  • Have an innovative and personalised approach with clients to build upon WebEngage's reputation and brand
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts to the Head of Sales and Marketing.
  • Negotiate contracts with prospective clients.
  • Contribute to client visits and pre-sales demonstrations.

 

People who excel as a Business Development Manager have:

  • Experience in CRM/ERP/Cloud based or SaaS solution sales
  • Successful track record in of identifying and converting B2B Sales opportunities.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience of selling to C-level clients.
  • An enthusiastic personality with passion and energy.

 

Desirable skills/experience: 

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Experience of selling consultancy services would be beneficial.
