We’re looking for a world class Recruiter to join our growing team. Responsibilities

  • Be a strategic partner to the business. You will help define hiring needs by looking at projected growth, team structure and current talent trends
  • Use data and tools to assess the current recruiting process and identify efficiencies as well as areas for improvement that will increase effectiveness 
  • Efforts include: Defining talent needs, sourcing and prescreening candidates and insuring a smooth and fluid process
  • Identify closing strategies for offers and proactively provide candidates with the right information to help make their decision as easy as possible
  • Partnering with key cross functional departments all through candidate on-boarding 
  • Communicate effectively with the interview team and management to ensure you are a representative of the Segment culture
  • Support other recruiting activities such as events, employer branding, operations and dashboards, etc

Requirements

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience required (in-house sales recruiting experience preferred)
  • Proven track record for identifying and engaging qualified passive candidates
  • Ability to understand each candidates drivers and articulate the Segment value proposition
  • Ability to connect and effectively communicate with people of all levels
  • Must thrive and ruthlessly prioritize in a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to handle customer relationship management, provide strong customer consultative skills and work in a large-team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
  • Bachelor's degree
