Senior Associate, Operations Strategy & Analytics

The Role:

You’ll combine analytical skills, strategic insights, and an ability to work across teams to create a forecast that allows us to anticipate customer demand for Harry’s products. With that in hand, you will partner with the supply teams to make sure we meet our plan and scale our operations accordingly.

You’ll focus on our newest channels, in particular Target, which began selling Harry’s products in August across all U.S. stores. In doing so, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the success of a major launch. You will also get exposure to our online, direct-to-consumer business on a variety of special projects.

This role reports to the Senior Manager of Sales & Operations Planning.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Leverage analytical skills and cross-functional work to improve the Sales & Operations Planning forecast, which informs everything from our Supply Chain team’s purchasing decisions to our distribution center’s staffing levels
  • Work across departments to become an expert on our customer base’s purchasing behavior. Combine inputs from Sales, Marketing, R&D, and other teams to predict orders and product mix
  • Manage projects that improve the accuracy and efficiency of our forecasting efforts
  • Create and implement dashboards that communicate the Sales & Operations forecast internally and measure key performance indicators related to accuracy
  • Constantly think about potential improvement opportunities for our supply chain and distribution teams

Background & Experience:

  • 1-4 years of experience in a demanding analytical environment, such as consulting, banking, and top-tier management development programs
  • Analytically focused Bachelor’s Degree
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with teams in a demanding environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with (or a willingness to learn) SQL
  • Ability to independently push forward and own projects in a fast-paced and unstructured environment
