SSA is looking for an outstanding Product Manager to contribute to the growth of our firm’s productization of IP. In this role, which reports directly into the Managing Director of New Products and Innovation, you will do everything from brainstorming features to customer/competitor research to wireframing to developing specifications to working closely with developers. Given the varying types of people you will work with, whether technical or not, the ability to communicate effectively is essential.

We are looking for an individual that has strong business judgment, an understanding of current software and SaaS trends and technologies, a deep knowledge of product management best practices, and a keen focus on user engagement.  The Product Manager will work closely with senior management and business teams, and will have the opportunity to oversee the launch and ongoing improvement of multiple products.


  • Execute on serial product development initiatives based on industry trends and revenue opportunities
  • Work with the business teams and management to define product vision and road map
  • Write clear and thorough product requirement and spec documents
  • Coordinate between business, engineering, design and QA to ensure smooth project execution
  • Ensure ongoing, agile development of new features and functionalities for launched products by working with teams to execute updates and new releases
  • Liaise with account managers to deliver new functionality that customers most demand, and prioritize resources accordingly
  • Oversee market and competitive research and analysis


Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science engineering preferred
  • Technical background preferred
  • At least 3 years of product management experience with a software technology company; Enterprise/B2B experience preferred.
  • Ability to write clear and concise project requirement documents
  • Strong passion for making products that deliver results
  • Proven track record for building products or product initiatives from ideation to execution to launch
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects effectively
  • Experience with standard development platforms and tools (Jira, GitHub, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of user engagement, business goals and competitive pressures and the ability to convert those into product requirements and priorities
  • Experience conceptualizing and implementing products across multiple platforms and devices
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; superior organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing and exciting environment
