Dining Room Attendant

Overview:

Interacting with our guests (employees), fellow staff members, and management staff in our private restaurant in a polite courteous manner; Assisting in bussing tables, restocking supplies, and other duties assigned by kitchen management.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift
  • Serving meals to our guests from the line
  • Set, reset, and clear tables after guests; take tableware to dish room and place silverware, glassware, dishes, etc, in appropriate areas for washing
  • Keeping the dining area clean
  • Washes dishes when dishwasher is absent and/or when management directs task
  • Assist in cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining room

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must have 3 years of restaurant experience
  • Must have a valid CA Food Handler’s card

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to work under pressure and take initiative in a fast paced environment
  • Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to work all shifts and available for overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25lbs unassisted
  • Frequent bending, stooping, and lifting of objects
  • Able to work in continuously-standing position for 5+ hours
