You will be part of DevOps team that provides solid solutions to enable our development team to quickly and efficiently develop new products.   • Lead a team of engineers in a highly agile environment
  • Demonstrate and promote use of best practice and process, governance and oversight – collaborating with many diverse teams -- to support a secure environment and adhere to compliance regulations
  • Build, manage and support development environment and tool chains
  • Design, setup build java based software, CI and tools to enhance developer productivity
  • Work directly with stakeholders to coordinate and identify engineering process automation
  • Ability to measure effectiveness using metrics, identify opportunities of improvements/automation
  • Hire, nurture and develop high potential engineers


  • 5+ years of experience in managing DevOps / Development / Test / SRE organizations of 5 or more engineers
  • Have proven technical achievement in building and delivering solutions towards CI, CD, CM
  • Strong experience managing production infrastructure in private cloud
  • Knowledge and working experience with AWS
  • Experience managing software lifecycle from build, continuous test, deployment and release
  • Strong ability to document standards, find possibility of automation
  • Experience with DevOps tools/technologies (source control, continuous integration,
  • Experience developing with object oriented programming languages, preferably Java
  • Proven ability in hiring, building high performance teams

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience building and setting up system and application monitoring
  • Experience working within Agile environment
  • Exposure to Java based development projects

Kraków is Guidewire’s eighth global development Centre, joining teams in California, Dublin, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tokyo and Toronto. The Centre is focused on development of core products that are critical to the company and its clients.

Established in 2011, Guidewire’s Irish centre helps meet a growing global customer demand for expertise in implementing Guidewire’s products. The Dublin-based European Development Centre, Guidewire’s third global development team, was established to extend our core applications to accelerate the delivery of critical new product functionality to our customers, and later expanded to include development of Guidewire Digital Portal products. The team builds both global capabilities and content for specific countries and locales. We use the same rigorous, quality-focused methodology that Guidewire’s customers have come to expect from the rest of the core system suite.
