The SVP of Sales and Marketing position is located in Santa Monica, CA. TaskUs is looking for a SVP of Sales to lead a high performing and exponentially growing company with a strong sales culture. Reporting directly to the company President and co-founder, the SVP will be our day to day sales leader who is responsible for top line New Logo revenue growth, building strong relationships, executing on go-to-market strategies for new verticals and services, developing a powerful referral network and expanding the sales team to meet aggressive company growth goals.

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

 

Does exponential revenue growth and seemingly impossible sales targets scare you or get you excited? Do you eat deals for breakfast, lunch and dinner? Do you actually care about process building and Salesforce adherence? Can you inspire, coach and mentor a team and take them to new levels of success?

TaskUs grew 151% in 2014, and is on pace for triple digit growth again this year. We are looking for someone who can take our goal of triple digit growth for 2016 and turn it into a reality by driving strategy, getting the right people on the bus, and driving the bus aggressively straight past our goals.

  • Drive $25MM in net new revenue (includes anything within year 1 of its contract, or new revenue closed in 2016)
  • Maintain Gross Profit of 45% on all new revenue
  • Achieve average monthly spend on new clients > $75,000/logo
  • Create over $200MM of new qualified opportunities
  • Close >5 new unicorns ($1B+ Startups)

    Other Deliverables
    • Report on revenue growth and sales activity to board
    • 90 day rolling forecast with +- 10% accuracy
    • 1 ride along day with each sales rep during Q1
    • Deal support for reps including travel to prospects, help on presentations and strategy and account mapping
    • Full account mapping on all top 10 accounts during Q1
    • Enforce Salesforce best practices and adherence – to be measured by % of compliance
    • Conduct 1:1s with each sales team member weekly
    • Run weekly sales meetings
    • Conduct sales training based on deficiencies in sales reps – baseline to be measured during the begging and end of the year
    • Work with Client Services to establish clear handoff
    • Review all reps service agreements for final sign off
    • Work with finance to roll out pricing
    • Build channel partnership program with venture capital and private equity and technology companies to drive at least 10 opportunities in 2016
    • Build partner channel to refer all business we say no to and earn referral fees
    • Work with executive team to decide on new vertical to enter
    • Identify new channels for partnerships and own them
    • Create a best in class prospect experience – all digital proposal and quoting system integrated with SFDC


YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 5 years of sales management experience
  • Have taken a company from ~$10-40MM in revenue to above $100MM
  • Minimum of 3+ years of selling a service with contract values over 1MM / year per logo
  • Minimum of 3+ years of managing reps with above 2MM annual quotas
  • BPO experience a plus
  • History of implementing and enforcing a strict hiring process for sales reps
  • Experience identifying deficiencies and areas for opportunities for sales reps and instituting sales training to improve these areas
  • Proven ability to build/manage a specialized salesforce where prospecting is a separate function from closing (SDR->BDR->AM)
  • Process focused - you should be able to demonstrate your experience in building and enforcing best practices and SFDC adherence
  • Experience reporting to a board
  • Executed on a go-to-market strategy to expand into new verticals
  • SFDC expert
  • Understand best practices and tools and demonstrated adapting to a new sales environment in the past 5 years
  • Strong understanding of multi (omni)-channel customer engagement including social media, mobile, chat, moderated content, and integrated back office services
