We are looking for a seasoned, hands-on front-end developer with the technical chops, collaboration and leadership skills to help define, design and build the next generation enterprise web framework.  You will be a part of the team responsible for delivering a highly configurable, reliable, cloud platform that will power a complex application suite.  You can contribute your skills, expertise, ingenuity and passion to help us succeed in our mission.


  • Contribute to the design and implementation of Guidewire's next-generation web framework.
  • Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, QA testers, product managers & UX designers.
  • Mentor more junior members of the team to help improve their skills and productivity.
  • Exemplify best practices in coding and automated testing.
  • Experiment and stay current with new technologies.

What you would need to succeed

  • Shipped one or more large web applications.
  • 5+ years of experience working closely with or developing web application frameworks like Angular or React (React preferred).
  • Experience with Node.js, and cutting edge tools like webpack, babel, and eslintl
  • Expert in styling including extensive experience in SASS/LESS, Bootstrap, and mobile environments.
  • Excellent ability to communicate plans to the entire development organization.
