Position Description:

This is a golden opportunity to promote our groundbreaking cloud adoption and management solution. 

Your thorough understanding of enterprise SaaS, Identity Management, and on-demand applications teamed with the communication skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences will be critical to your success.  


In this multi-faceted role you will work closely with prospects and customers to help them understand how to best use technology to solve business needs.  You will work with the entire Okta organization and closely with sales and product development to utilize your intuitive business sense and provide customer feedback for new feature and system development.


Your deep knowledge of enterprise web technologies, security and cutting-edge frameworks and infrastructures will be called upon as you propose, design and present technical demonstrations and proofs of concept.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Work directly with Okta prospects in pre-sales activities to fit Okta’s market leading capabilities to their specific business problems.
  • Be a key part of the sales team and a technical lead working with Okta Account Managers and the entire Okta team to solve key business problems for customers
  • Manage customer engagements, including requirements gathering, scoping, solution design/delivery, project management, and customer acceptance of deliverables.
  • Respond to RFIs/RFPs and working with customers delivering compelling Proof of Concepts
  • Shape Okta’s growth and development, including the build-out of new offerings and solutions, and making Okta the best place to work
  • Travel to meet with customers and prospects (50%)
  • Remote position US Cental Located


Minimum REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong Saas, Identity Management, IT, compliance experience
  • Execution-oriented and posses the ability to drive decisions and satisfy customers. 
  • 4-5 years customer-facing technical role with success dealing with all levels of an organization.
  • Deep experience in Internet technologies, identity and access management, information security and/or computer networking
  • The desire to roll up the sleeves and contribute to providing unparalled customer value within a world class organization.
  • Solid computer programming skills (java, corp. system levels)
  • Proven track record of success
  • Great team player and collaborative NO lone wolfs


Education and Training:

  • BS in engineering or computer science. MBA preferred
  • IT and or security certifications
