About the role

Together with Sofie, our current one-woman-band for all payroll and onboarding, you vouch for a top notch employee experience: a flawless administrative onboarding of new joiners, smooth monthly payroll and coordination of employee perks and benefits in Belgium and the UK. As the Comp & Ben and Payroll Team you both make sure that a Showpad employee should never lose any sleep over any HR admin matter. In addition, you and Sofie run Comp & Ben projects; and there are plenty of those in the pipeline!


Key responsibilities:

  • Ensuring payroll management for our Ghent and London office, including running part of the payroll yourself
  • Coordinating and executing on a smooth administrative onboarding of new joiners
  • Managing up to date employee data in a state of the art HR IS system
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements
  • Advising employees and management on any labour law and other HR admin related topics
  • Owning the job grid, and ensuring the availability of up to date benchmark data
  • Project management and execution of the implementation of new systems and processes: eg. flexible reward,new HR IS and payroll tool, benchmarking suppliers,...
  • Helping in scaling our employee success by your service-minded attitude and approach


Skills and Qualifications we are looking for

At the minimum

  • A bachelor or master degree in an HR related study
  • 7 to 10 years experience in payroll and compensation & benefits
  • Thorough knowledge of Belgian social legislation
  • Service minded attitude combined with a good portion of critical business thinking
  • Strong team player
  • Efficiency, accuracy and work planning
  • Able to handle confidential information maturely
  • Fluency in Dutch & English
