National Account Manager, Digital

As a National Account Manager, Digital, you will drive revenue nationally to support the growth of Intersection’s Digital portfolio, with a focus on LinkNYC. The ideal candidate will have quality relationships that are diverse and varied across digital and strategy groups, within a major holding company. You will be able to identify new budgets across all agencies within holding company's lumascape, build off of historical buying trends, and develop new relationships to support the growth and success of the company. This person will work in tandem with a National Account Manager for Intersection’s traditional OOH portfolio to create new opportunities, respond to RFPs, manage key relationships and be a digital thought leader at the senior level of their holding company. This role will be based in the NY office, may have national agency relationship oversight, and requires some travel.


Responsibilities:

  • Generate digital ad revenue from dedicated holding company, from national clients, consistently achieving quarterly and annual targets. 
  • Grow and maintain an established client base, while also focusing on driving new business. 
  • Develop and implement effective national market sales and marketing strategies that maximize sales opportunities. 
  • Build and maintain effective relationships, including at a senior level, to ensure Intersection’s digital portfolio is well represented across all key agencies. 
  • Identify, respond to, and solve business issues for clients and provide solutions that add value by creating strategic and thoughtful responses to RFPs, working in tandem with Traditional lead and account management team(s), as well as cross-functionally with marketing, sales ops and product teams. 
  • Be an expert in digital ecosystem with ability to articulate clear knowledge of emerging trends, challenges and opportunities. 
  • Use research and analysis to create rationale and recommendations for proposed solutions. 
  • Forecast business growth and develop strategies to effectively address evolving environment. 
  • Communicate with senior and local management, as well as clients, buyers, and sales agencies. 

Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years of Advertising Sales experience required 
  • Strong agency relationships required, direct client/brand CMO relationships preferred 
  • Demonstrate a proven record of success achieving sales quotas, managing multi-million dollar budgets and books of business 
  • Self-starter with excellent time management, decision-making skills and a strong work ethic 
  • Team player
