Foursquare could provide a powerful data-driven insight.
These types of insights and analysis are made possible because of Foursquare’s first-party dataset that includes the industry-largest panel of mobile phone users as they move in and out of places in the real-world, like retail locations, restaurants and transit hubs.
Foursquare is seeking a tenured and resourceful enterprise sales team leader who is inspired by the power and potential of solving real business problems through actionable data and insights. In this role, you will have the opportunity to bring something new and innovative across industries, including hedge funds, retail, CPG, and beyond.
You will be responsible for all national sales and partnership activities related to our Place Insights products. In this role you’ll drive sales by vetting, negotiating and building great marketing programs that our clients will love, while managing a team of business development and sales professionals to ensure they achieve their revenue goals. As our product evolves, you'll have the unique opportunity to contribute to our monetization efforts while working with Fortune 1000 and top companies in selling Foursquare’s suite of Insights products.
You should be both a strong strategic thinker and top-notch sales team leader. Negotiation and relationship management skills are critical, as is a thorough understanding of the digital media industry; especially location, mobile and audience based selling.
Using your industry expertise to fuel new opportunities for Foursquare, you will negotiate and close data and technology related deals. You have successfully built strong relationships in retail and/or CPG, but you remain strategic in nature and enthusiastic about shaping the product in addition to closing large-scale deals.
This role will be based in New York City and will require extensive travel.
