Axiom Zen is looking for an Office Assistant to help ensure our Vancouver HQ is a great place to work – whether that means preparing gifts for new hires, organizing a catered lunch, or greeting a visitor.

With daily tasks including keeping the office kitchen well-stocked and organized, managing incoming mail, and assisting team members as needed, you will be a key part of creating a world-class office atmosphere at Axiom Zen.

As our ideal candidate, you are impeccably organized, relentlessly dedicated, and an excellent communicator. With a deep interest in technology and a knack for working with people, it is in your nature to arrange and maintain order at work.



As the Office Assistant at the Zen Den in Vancouver, you appreciate that a job description is just an outline of what you may be working on. We’re looking for someone who’s excited about the job and is looking to grow the role and its responsibilities.

But, in general, you will:

  • Be the first impression people have of Axiom Zen. Partners and guests will appreciate what a wonderful host you are.
  • Send and receive important mail.
  • Lead online purchasing and supply procurement. We take care of our team and would love your suggestions for the newest gadgets, office, and kitchen hacks.
  • Organize catered lunches and food preparation, leading birthday celebrations and coordinating our weekly catered lunches.
  • Coordinate, organize, and maintain the office.
  • Assist team members as necessary and take the initiative to find new tasks. Sometimes, this means going above and beyond your role’s specific responsibilities.
  • Assist in documentation, maintaining employee files, and auditing the company device inventory, ensuring our team members’ devices are up to date and suggesting improvements to our current processes.

As our Vancouver Zen Den Office Assistant, you are:

  • An exceptional verbal and written communicator. As the voice of the company for many of our outgoing communications, you need to have the gift of gab.
  • Always paying attention to details and deadlines. This role requires a high level of efficiency, calendar mastery, and respect for everyone’s time.
  • Proactive, with a track-record of taking the initiative. We want a problem solver that’s a stickler for quality. Our ideal candidate doesn’t just solve bottlenecks; they anticipate and preempt them before they become a problem.
  • In possession of a valid driver’s license. On occasion, you will need to run errands outside of the office.
  • Able to grow your role and take on evolving responsibilities. There’s no job beneath you. Not only are you capable of rolling up your sleeves to see something through, but you can also gather a team to help out when necessary.

  • Transport Reimbursement. We cover public transport to work and back. If you bike to work instead, we set aside $1000/year for bike maintenance. If you walk to work, we’ll bonus you the same amount as a rental subsidy.
