About the job:
The Product Launch Specialist owns the first impression of every new product. Partnering with the Product Marketing team, this role will bring the broader marketing org together to launch new products with speed and quality.
Launch Planning: Partner with Product Marketing to figure out best activities to achieve launch goals and document the launch plan.
Project Management: Take a bigger picture view on each launch by highlighting priorities, tracking dependencies and ensuring tasks are completed on specified timelines.
Positioning Reviews: Validate that all customer-facing content has a clear & consistent message, it’s audience appropriate and achieves the planned goal.
Reporting: Conduct cross-team post-mortem and track launch metrics.
Technical Curiosity: You want to understand what really makes a product tick. Maybe you’ve worked for an enterprise software, SaaS, telecom or web services company. Maybe you have a degree in Computer Science. Maybe you just geek out on the side.
Business Acumen: You have examples of how you understand the customer and the market opportunity. It’s easy for you to share examples of analysis you’ve done to grow a business.
Creativity: You love to tell a story. Be sure to tell us about a technology product.
Project Management: You get a thrill from completing projects that involve many people and teams. We’d love to hear how you do it.
Work Experience: 5+ years of experience, or an MBA, or experience running your own business.
- You understand the global telecommunications provider ecosystem.
- You understand the developer and know the tools and experience that developers crave.
- You've worked with technology products that have targeted developers with cloud-based services.
- You've worked with technology products that have targeted enterprises via direct, online, and channel strategies.
- You have a good understanding of Twilio's value prop and the apps that have already been built. You can build a Twilio app yourself.
