Director, Capital Markets

In this role, you will:

  • Develop new and manage existing investor relationships.  Focus on investor diversification of institutional investors and growth of High Net Worth/Family Offices
  • Analyze and position the relative value of OnDeck’s product offerings versus those of competitors to the investor base for both securitization and Marketplace sales.
  • Maintain an active dialogue with investors on credit/return performance of portfolio
  • Engage in the implementation of OnDeck’s financing and capital markets strategy by working on securitizations, warehouse financing etc.
  • Negotiate Marketplace sales, and other financing activities

Necessary qualifications for success:

  • Strong understanding of capital markets, ABS and corporate finance
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to position product offering effectively
  • Institutional Investor Rolodex.  Experience selling to family offices a plus
  • Solid understanding of credit and operational risk
  • Strong logical and analytical skills
  • Experience in investment banking in a transaction and execution role (structure finance experience a plus)
  • A bachelor's degree in business, management, accounting, economics, statistics, information science or similar (MBA a plus)
