Manager, Agency Partnerships

The Manager, Agency Partnerships will lead the management of PlayStation’s agency network. This position will work closely with agency partners to ensure they deliver best in class planning and campaign integration across the marketing organization. This position will maintain oversight of agency partners and ensure they deliver integrated brand communication solutions aligned with business goals and agency statement of work. The position will report to the Director of Media and Agency Partnership.

  • Support director in development and management of fit for purpose agency network across creative, media, and digital agency partners
  • Coordinate with legal and finance partners to manage agency contracts, compensation models, and brand team in development of agency statement of work
  • Review monthly FTE agency reports with brand managers and finance for accuracy and alignment. Track trends and fee reconciliation
  • Manage agency budget and provide quarterly updates on agency performance and financial commitments.
  • Manage monthly and quarterly agency reviews
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert for integrated production bids including vendor, music and talent estimates, negotiations, contracts and rights
  • Collaborate with agency business affairs and internal legal team to review and approve production, talent, music agreements as they related to advertising production
  • Support brand leads in review and approval of agency production bids and advise on agency selected production partners for integrated brand communications
  • Maintain working knowledge of all facets of advertising production; film, digital, social, experiential & print
  • Support Media and Agency team members in the legal, finance, and info security operations as required
  • Maintain active agency partner list and stay on top of leading edge agencies for future consideration.
  • Guide brand teams in feasibility of agency creative work for feasibility within time and budget parameters.
  • Leader in mentoring and education of brand team on all Business Affairs related matters
  • Establish processes and balanced working relationships with internal team and external agency partners

Required Knowledge / Skills:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in marketing procurement at a consumer brand and/or business affairs at marketing agency
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience negotiating agency agreements and or statements of work
  • Experience in production and project management of adverting production bids for broadcast and digital creative, preferably in an agency environment
  • Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functionally
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong understanding of marketing in the video games, movie, and/or music business.
  • Passion for technology & entertainment (games, music, movies, TV)
