JOB DESCRIPTION

Carvana’s fast-growing strategic partnerships team forges mutually beneficial relationships with organizations that enhance our go to market strategy, customer experience, or organizational processes.  We are looking for a diligent, high energy relationship manager to facilitate and deepen our partnerships in Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee.  Beyond being the main point of contact for each partner in your assigned territory, you will also be responsible for implementing a growth plan and managing a budget for each partner relationship. Your job is to know the ins and outs of each partner and to maximize the partnership’s potential for both parties over the long term.

 

LOCATION

 Atlanta, GA - Regional travel primarily within GA and to AL, TN, and FL as necessary.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing relationships with organizations across your territory, and based on your familiarity and influence with those organizations, expanding the scope of each partnership over time.

  • Supporting day-to-day needs of our partners, including: leading staff trainings and marketing events, facilitating operational aspects of the partnership integration, and working with Carvana’s customer-facing team to handle issues and escalations.

  • Understanding Carvana’s business model and value proposition for the partners in your territory and using the tools at your disposal (co-branded marketing, events, swag, trainings, relationship building, incentive programs, etc.) to improve the engagement for both Carvana and its partner over time.

  • Collaborating cross-functionally within the partnerships team, marketing, and operations to execute growth initiatives.

  • Representing Carvana with all partner stakeholders from executive leadership to line-level employees.

  • Tracking, reporting on, and owning partnership KPIs.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE  

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2+ years in an account management or sales role.
  • Proven track record building relationships with stakeholders across multiple levels of partner organizations.
  • Ability to work both independently and in teams without significant structure or supervision.
  • Well-honed detail orientation, organization, and follow up skills a must.
  • Ability to motivate, inspire, and connect with people.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Training experience strongly preferred.
  • Event planning experience a plus.
