Next-Day TV Coordinator - Contract position
Los Angeles, CA

The Contract Next-Day TV Coordinator will be responsible for handling the coordination of all assets related to next-day television content for PlayStation Video.  He/she will work with our external content partners and internal teams under strict deadlines to ensure episodes from hundreds of shows are published on time globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and ingest all assets from our Next-Day TV partners
  • Enter availability notices and metadata into our internal content management system
  • Audit delivered metadata for any errors/issues
  • Send artwork to internal Creative team for ingestion
  • Confirm video asset delivery and route for encoding/QC
  • Track episode completion for each day/week utilizing internal reporting tools
  • Follow up on missing assets with each content partner
  • Confirm status of completion for received assets
  • Communicate any delays to all appropriate parties
  • Work with various internal parties to troubleshoot and resolve Next-Day content related issues

Skills/Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in the digital distribution industry
  • Understanding of digital content processes
  • Experience with content management systems
  • Proficiency in multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, independent, highly organized, and proactive. Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy and consistency a MUST.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be able to work flexible hours and be available for weekend and night work as needed
  • Proficiency in MS Office with advanced knowledge of Excel. Comfortable working with XML.
  • Ability to adapt and change, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
  • Knowledge of EST and VOD platforms helpful
  • Knowledge of video encoding workflow also a plus
