Lantern is hiring a

Partner Success Associate

San Francisco, United States

Role summary:

Lantern is looking for a sharp, collaborative Partner Success Associate with a passion for mental health and wellness

Who we're looking for:
You love jumping on open questions and working to get to a creative answer that hasn’t been previously explored.   You’re always looking to bring together people and ideas in order to come up with a whole that’s greater than the sum of it’s parts.  You’re not shy about making yourself heard, and you know the value of a range of opinions coming together into a final product.  You gain energy from working across different groups, and you love being at the center of all aspects of a project.  To enable those connections, you’re a pro-communicator, able to take complex information and articulate it in a clear way that meets the needs of each member of your audience.  When communicating externally to partners and internally across functions, you balance being thoughtful with being fast, and you make it look easy.

Maybe you’ve had experience with partner success through consulting or account management.  Perhaps you’re looking to find a way to put all of that organization skill to good use, or want to join a team that’s nimble, fast-paced, and growing. Most importantly, you’re a collaborative project management wiz with experience and an interest in using your talents to change the face of mental health care. If this sounds like you, we'd love to meet you.

Your role at Lantern:

Partner success is a critical aspect of Lantern’s business and ultimately what allows our programs to get into the hands of the users who benefit from them.  You will be at the heart of making sure that our partnerships launch and are delivered without a hitch, from running planning calls to creating playbooks to formalize our internal processes across partner segments.

You will be responsible for managing special projects that impact all our partners, from designing reporting processes to improving our user activation and sign-up across employer and health care settings.

Successful partnership management is by nature a collaborative process.  On a daily basis, you’ll work with members of the Research and Commercialization teams to ensure that partner projects align with Lantern’s evidence generation objective.  You will also work closely with team members across Marketing, Engineering, Design, Coaching, and Content to deliver launches that meet partner needs.  You don’t have to have experience across all of these areas, but you do have to be comfortable in learning, asking questions, and organizing projects across them.  As one of the first members on a small (and growing) team, you’ll have a chance to shape how we work with partners and maximize launch success.

About Lantern:

Lantern creates simple, effective web and mobile programs based in cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness. Our programs combine professional coaching with interactive exercises, giving users the skills and motivation they need to overcome mental health challenges.

We’re not about unrealistic promises or get-happy-quick schemes. We’re about removing the stigma and barriers that prevent people from strengthening their emotional selves, offering an evidence-based approach to making every day better.

We envision a world in which people think differently about their mental health–where they feel empowered to take a simple step toward well-being. We’re on a mission to make this happen, and we hope you’ll join us.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and own special projects focused on optimizing partnerships with employers, providers, health plans, and research organizations
  • Work closely with Partner Success leadership to support employer, provider, and insurer launches
  • Own planning, tracking, and documenting projects to ensure timeliness, effectiveness, and success of internal and client projects
  • Contribute to the development and sharing of best practices for partnership management and user success within the Lantern team

Qualifications and experience:

  • BA/BS degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Familiarity and comfort working in an early stage company; readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements
  • Client facing experience; specifically consulting or experience as the primary point of contact for partners is a huge plus
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Entrepreneurial work ethic
  • Be eligible to work in the US
  • Be willing to work out of our San Francisco office–this is not a remote position

Lantern is deeply committed to creating a culturally diverse workplace. People of color, LGBTQI folks, women, and people with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
