Regional Onboarding Specialist

About the role

Reserve is looking for a full-time position based in New York City. Your focus will be the Onboarding and Support for the Eastern Region of the United States including NYC, Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington DC. You will be responsible for setting up and implementing the Reserve system in remote and local businesses, establishing protocols and timelines and working with our Customer Success team to ensure a clean and successful introduction to the Reserve product line.



  • Manage 20+ accounts in the onboarding process at any given time
  • Train and support new restaurant partners through the early part of our relationship
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact and resource for our restaurant partners
  • Monitor feedback channels and reach out to restaurants to resolve issues
  • Follow specific timelines and implementation practices for efficient
  • Ensure contract agreement matches implementation services and hardware
  • Contribute records and notes to a team-wide customer relationship management database
  • Identify trends and opportunities; collaborate with your Customer Success team to surface issues and feedback from our client base to ensure customer satisfaction.


About You

The right candidate has deep relationships in and understanding of restaurant operations and restaurant software. You love making processes more efficient and have excellent organizational skills. You are detail-oriented and an excellent communicator. You are a good manager, capable of working well with a team to understand client issues and develop appropriate responses/solutions. You are great multitasker who can easily juggle multiple tasks without a reduction in quality or execution. You’re capable of quickly building rapport and establishing trust. You display a willingness to make decisions in a timely fashion, exhibiting sound and accurate judgment, with an ability to support and explain reasoning for those decisions. You are capable of adjusting your strategies to achieve desired results, then share those results with the organization.

You will also have the following:

  • 2-3+ years of relevant account management, sales, and/or operational experience
  • Comfort working independently and/or on a small team in an unstructured and entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience operating in the restaurant industry
  • Data-driven decision mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking (i.e., you are comfortable with spreadsheets)
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and "whatever it takes" attitude
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • College degree preferred
  • Preference given to candidates with experience in hospitality with a deep empathy and understanding for the restaurant industry
