Advisor – Operations (Full-Time Sales Associate)

Toronto, Canada

As an Operations Advisor you will be responsible for performing all back-end processes within the retail store. This employee will bridge the gap between our online and offline interactions with customers, providing a seamless customer experience. This role will involve an intensive two-week training, as well as ongoing trainings as processes are updated.

What you'll do:

  • Master all store order processes (prescriptions, exam appointments, product offering) in order to support store the Sales Advisor team selling function
  • Process all operations-managed sales orders (returns, exchanges, lens replacements, etc.)
  • Partner with the (HQ) Customer Experience team to complete the retail order process
  • Deliver exceptional customer experience throughout all customer correspondence (email and phone order follow-up)
  • Assist with store inventory management and processes, such as cycle counts and shipping/receiving
  • Provide feedback on systems and processes to Operations Supervisor 
  • Track and process shipments in and out of store
  • Answer all store customer inquiry phone calls

Who you are:

  • Experienced in working with Point of Sale and store systems
  • A seasoned expert at exceptional customer experience
  • A self-starter with a true entrepreneurial spirit
  • Positive, high energy, and eager to learn
  • Optical retail background a plus

Extra Credit: 

  • Background in retail, with at least six months experience (or more!)
