Working in the IT Team at Carvana….

You'll need to be super approachable and always willing to go above and beyond to help fellow employees with their IT needs and problems. It could be as simple as connecting their monitor to as complicated as tuning their flux capacitor to precisely 1.21 gigawatts! J

 Specifically, as a Helpdesk Support Associate, you can expect to…. 

  • Deal with anything that is powered (wired or wireless) and at one time or another, someone will ask you to either fix it, explain it or throw it in recycling bin.
  • Take incoming calls, emails and walk-ups related to all IT issues and requests from both PC and Mac users.
  • Log all technical issues in to the ticketing system with as much details as possible.
  • Setup IT accessories (monitors, docking stations, phones etc.) for all new hires and sometimes help current users move.
  • Document solutions to new problems and share with the rest of the team.
  • Work with vendors in-person or on the phone to resolve an issue.
  • Learn and have fun a LOT!

  

Enough about us….

This is a helpdesk/desktop support role. The qualifying candidate must be enthusiastic, energetic and love to help people and solve their computer problems. You should also have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical support field
  • Advanced skills in Windows Operating System (recent flavors: Windows 7,8,10) and knowledge to create and push images on laptops using WDS server.
  • Knowledge in Mac OS X (recent flavors: Yosemite, El Capitan).
  • Experience with all major types of mobile devices (iOS, Android, Windows)
  • Intermediate skills administering Windows Active Directory.
  • An understanding of enterprise network environment.
  • Basic knowledge and troubleshooting skills for IP Phones.
  • The ability to effectively communicate with remote users via phone or email and troubleshoot problems using remote connectivity tools or sometimes in the blind.
  • Intermediate skills supporting MS Office suite specially Outlook and Office 365.
  • Intermediate skills supporting G Suites, formerly known as G Apps.
  • Experience with Okta and Atlassian products.
  • Skills to troubleshoot issues with AV equipment, HD TVs or Projectors in the conference rooms.
