Position: Senior Diagnostics Engineer, Battery Management Systems
Define, implement and test ECU and vehicle level diagnostics strategies and functions for EV drive battery systems.
Verification and validation of diagnostics.
Working within a requirements management tool (JAMA) to manage ECU diagnostics requirements.
A minimum of 5 years of applicable experience in embedded development with a focus on automotive diagnostics.
Hands on experience configuring, trouble-shooting, and optimizing embedded C code.
Experience with ISO 14229 (UDS over CAN), UDS over LIN and DoIP diagnostics.
Passion for product excellence and quality.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineer, Computer Engineering or similar.
Experience with Vector tool set (CANoe/CANdiva/CANalyzer)
Experience with requirements management.
Experience with automotive battery management systems and EV propulsion systems.
Experience with battery controls and modeling.
Experience working with Git version control.
Expertise in C/C++ and/or Python programming, and shell scripting.
Experience with source code management, unit test, code review, and issue tracking systems.
Experience developing embedded C for either consumer or automotive markets.
