About The Role

The purpose of the Demand Growth Marketing Executive role is to support the implementation of the demand side of Careem’s Growth Marketing strategy in Saudi Arabia. This role requires a high level of market understanding and a diverse skill set across multiple areas, including advertising, social media marketing, public relations, event planning, strategic and conceptual thinking, content creation, and partnerships management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the development of growth strategies for social media, PR, advertising and marketing research, and work closely with the marketing team to assure timely execution focusing on market demand for Careem’s services.
  • Coordinate marketing activities across different marketing functions and different regions.
  • Collaborate with management and other marketing colleagues, aligning our internal goals with new and existing partner relationships.
  • Monitor demand growth and flow of users into the funnel, optimizing visibility, awareness and revenues, while managing perceptions and minimizing churn.
  • Monitor market trends, conduct competitive analysis and share the gained insights with the team on a regular basis.
  • Suggest measures to constantly improve our offering and the way we market our products.
  • Develop new and creative approaches to working closer with influential members of our industry, and serve as a goto resource to other marketing team members.
  • Assist with event planning, including working with vendors, event coordinators, and design teams for onsite collateral.
  • Keep records of contracts, invoices etc.
  • Assure integration of all marketing activities such as PR, partnerships, research, social media and advertising.
  • Plan and prepare internal and external presentations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, communications, and marketing.
  • Proactively seek and identify local, regional and global marketing trends and best practices, then promote and spread best practices among marketing team members, leadership and the rest of the organization.
