Assistant, Finance and Administrative (HR & Benefits)

VillageReach is a 501(c)(3) non-profit global health innovator that develops, tests, implements and scales new solutions to critical health system challenges in low-resource environments, with an emphasis on strengthening the “last mile” of healthcare delivery. With more than a decade of experience studying and working in low-resource communities around the globe, VillageReach combines expertise across public health, technology, and business to bring life-saving innovation – new systems, programs and technologies – to scale and sustainability.

This non-exempt position is based in our Seattle headquarters office and has regular working hours of 40 per week. The position reports to the Director, Finance & Operation. This position interacts with all departments and staff, and works closely with the Human Resources Generalist.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working a human resources department, particularly in Washington State
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong computer skills including personal mastery of Microsoft Office; aptitude fearlessness in the face of learning new computer applications
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in writing and verbally
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data
  • Commitment to provide excellent customer service
  • Demonstrated success working in a face paced, tech savvy environment
  • US citizenship or valid US residency/ work permit required
  • Experience with a relational database
  • Previous experience or volunteerism with a nonprofit organization
