From sites around the world, the company produces a range of software based around its Wolfram Language programming technology, including Mathematica, the Computable Document Format (CDF) standard, the modeling and simulation environment Wolfram SystemModeler and Wolfram’s computational knowledge engine, Wolfram|Alpha.

We are looking for an organized, enthusiastic individual to join our marketing team, managing a busy and varied workload. Duties will include organizing events and webinars and coordinating website projects. Working as part of a team, the Marketing Projects Coordinator will need to be a self-starter, comfortable working independently. This is a full-time, permanent role based at our European headquarters in Hanborough near Witney/Oxford.

Job description:

  • Coordinating company events from start to finish (across Europe), including logistics, venue hire, schedule coordination, website and registration coordination
  • Organizing marketing email campaigns around events and product launches
  • Coordinating website projects, including reviewing content and overseeing implementation
  • Coordinating webinars and assisting with training days where needed
  • Outreach development—developing and maintaining the university Ambassador Program across key locations

Key skills:

  • Highly organized, able to prioritize workload, complete tasks to deadlines and work under pressure; this is the most important aspect of the key skills required 
  • Disciplined approach to organizing activities and priorities 
  • Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to all tasks 
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to communicate well at all levels, both internally and externally 
  • Confident phone manner and comfortable networking 
  • Ability to effectively distill information about our clients, products, and services  
  • Excellent IT skills and experience in all Microsoft office products
  • An interest and aptitude for current technology and STEM education is desirable
  • Experience working in event organization (1+ years) desirable
  • A technical background (education or work experience) would be beneficial but is not essential
