Our vision at LoveCrafts is to create an entirely new platform for the global maker community - one craft at a time. We launched our first site just over three years ago - early success led to funding from one of Europe's leading venture investors - and we haven't looked back since. With a global customer base, physical hubs in London, Manchester and Illinois, USA; and 3 x growth year on year, we’ve grown from start up to sensation in a very short space of time.

As we set out to converge traditional crafts with the digital age we are looking for exceptional talent to help us disrupt and innovate in this highly dynamic sector. We're playing with the very best in web, mobile, social, commerce and media technology as we create the perfect digital business for all things craft related.

As we forge ahead creating a beautiful user experience across this unique and innovative platform, we're looking to recruit a highly talented Digital designer; you should take great pride in your craft, be a fast learner, and demonstrate the ability to pick up new tools and technologies quickly.

Profile we're looking for:

  • A passion for internet products and delightful user experiences
  • Strong User Interface design experience
  • Experience designing engaging and highly interactive user experiences for web and mobile products
  • Experience working in an agile product development environment; using an iterative Lean UX approach
  • Experience creating style guides for web sites and apps
  • Responsive web design
  • Making Data-driven design decisions
  • Prototyping and using testing tools
  • Good understanding of design / development trade-offs
  • Experience designing high quality UX models including site maps, user flows and wireframes
  • Mobile App design
  • Experience working collaboratively within a team of designers, developers and product owners  

Ideal candidates will have one or more of the following:

  • Experience with usability testing
  • Experience at a well-known and respected company / product
  • Relevant design degree
  • Good understanding of Front-end development skills in HTML, CSS & JS.
  • Ecommerce or Social Network application design experience
  • Working in agile product development environments
  • Participates in a handmade craft, such as knitting or tech craft
