As a member of the Global Talent Organization, you will be challenged to understand the needs of the business and be empowered to help make decisions and leverage your MBA mindset to drive strategies forward and make a meaningful impact to the organization. You will have exposure to LinkedIn leaders and be entrenched in the day-to-day of the business while simultaneously building your own professional network with LinkedIn’s employee base, both across LinkedIn as well as within Global Talent.

  • Drive change and manage transformation as part of creating a culture needed to deliver our business strategies and maintain our competitive advantage
  • Partner closely with business leaders to link the organizational business and workforce strategies to improve organization effectiveness, talent development and overall performance
  • Work to support, develop, enable, and empower people in LinkedIn to create an environment of productivity and satisfaction
  • Work closely with the Global Talent Organization to ensure depth and reach in the design and implementation of the various initiatives and programs across the client groups
  • Report on experience to the Global Talent Organization leadership team at the end of the internship

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a 1st year student currently enrolled in an MBA or MA/MS program
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent years of field related experience
  • Students must have the ability to participate in an 11-12 week summer internship program

  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with diverse people
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to balance corporate, function, geographic and business needs in deploying HR programs to the business unit
  • Demonstrate courage and willingness to take risks to deliver results
  • Balance strategic thinking with practical action to drive significant results
  • Inspire those around you and demand excellence
  • Leverage previous HR experience to help us build a world class HR organization
  • Understanding of people and cultural issues impacting organizational success
  • Innovative mindset and passion to drive change
  • Intellectual curiosity about Human Resources and an ability to translate ideas into action
  • Experience leading a team, a function, a group, or a change initiative
  • Consulting or program management experience, preferably in a high tech environment of significant scope and complexity
  • Background in and/or enrolled in Industrial Organization program
  • Understand the LinkedIn business model and live the values  

A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No work visa sponsorship is available for this position.
