Sales Development Strategist

External Communications/Promotions:

  • Formulate action plans to help develop high level awareness and access in the agency and client communities of WNYC Studios and its product offerings working in conjunction with marketing teams on B2B efforts to make our brand more top-of-mind within the media buying communities
  • Coordinate and/or project manage departmental and interdepartmental efforts at industry events including IAB, ANA, AdWeek, CES, and SXSW
  • Develop ongoing client outreach strategies including email blasts, event invitations and potential newsletters

Collateral and Promotional Materials:

  • Maintain and update sponsorship site for maximum relevance and impact
  • Create cohesive “style guide” to create cohesive, professional look across all client materials including one-sheets, sales decks, promotional emails and web site
  • Work with marketing team to develop more frequent audio and video promotional  tools  like highlight and sizzle reels
  • Create more consistent client premiums and seasonal items
  • Replace or reorganize “T-Drive” with simplified library for finding updated one-sheets, proposal templates, research and other materials

Audience Growth and Measurement:

  • Will work across Content, Ad Operations and Marketing teams to analyze and interpret data of current and prospective shows to predict download and impression number for the Sponsorship team
  • Working with above analysis, will help create cost analysis and budgets for ongoing show launches

SalesForce Administration:

  • Oversee all training and tutorial functions towards implementing a well versed, actively engaged departmental user base
  • Troubleshoot system in conjunction with SalesForce support team(s)
  • Evolve and modify system possibly integrating independent databases with the net result of SalesForce being to be utilized as a more effective prospecting and lead generation tool
  • Ensure all lead and/or account redundancies (duplications) are eliminated

 

 

Custom Content Support:

  • Support Dana Elmquist in tracking active and potential pitches in their varying stages and their potential air dates.
  • Assist in preparing pitch materials for presentations and educate sellers about when Custom Content should best be pitched and the process involved with executing it.
  • Explore other potential revenue streams within the Custom Content category
