We are currently seeking an Account Coordinator or Account Executive to support our thought leadership-oriented accounts, as well as some traditional media relations-focused accounts. You may work on things like building media lists, identifying speaking opportunities, creating content for social channels, and byline article writing and placement.
Our ideal candidate is someone who is extremely skilled in executing against media relations and influencer strategies and who truly understands how to tell the story of a brand and how to bring that story to life with a compelling communications strategy. In this position, you will:
Build media and influencer lists, research editorial calendars, and pitch media and influencers.
Sit in on client calls, draft recaps, assist in reporting, and monitor competitors.
Monitor online conversations for engagement opportunities, curate and create basic content, conduct prospect research, and identify influencers.
Provide event support and execute logistics.
Write, edit and proofread materials ensuring quality and consistency with appropriate writing styles.
Minimum 1 year of relevant PR or marketing experience, preferably in an agency setting
Understanding of brand storytelling and media and influencer relations strategies
Understanding of digital/new media marketing strategies
Expert in persuasive writing and verbal communication
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
