We are looking for an Enterprise account executive to be responsible for driving strategic sales initiatives within the financial services/insurance marketplace.

Job Description:
  • Define, develop and execute a revenue driven Territory Plan
  • Take responsibility for ensuring that growth and quota objectives are achieved within your territory
  • Establish a thorough understanding of market influences, business drivers, the competitive landscape and the partner ecosystem across your territory
  • Provide guidance & leadership to all functions involved in executing the territory plan, including marketing, telemarketing, presales, partner and PS resources
  • Identify appropriate alliances within your territory in conjunction with the Channels organization
  • Ensure that the benefits of MarkLogic use cases are understood and communicated at all levels within all key accounts
  • Identify and qualify opportunities for incremental revenue within any existing accounts, and seek to achieve full deployment of ML licenses within them
  • Maintain your pipeline and forecast in, ensuring at all times that it is accurate and up to date

  • A minimum of 10 years of successfully selling Enterprise solutions, ideally involving database, search or analytics software
  • A thorough understanding of selling into the Financial Services Marketplace
  • The ability to convey the benefits of a MarkLogic solution in business terms
  • A strategic outlook and structured approach to Territory and Opportunity planning
  • The ability to assemble and lead a virtual cross-functional team
  • A demonstrable track record of working with third parties to exceed sales targets
  • An excellent communicator, highly motivated and with a passion for winning
