A general knowledge of Linux system administration, Apache configuration, networking concepts, and a variety of scripting languages is required to effectively manage IT tasks. This is primarily a software/programming position, however some of the programming and scripting projects may require some familiarity with Linux system administration tasks and networking concepts.
Administer Atlassian Confluence wiki, Crowd single-sign-on and other products.
Develop and enhance productivity tools supporting the engineering group built on the MarkLogic Server product.
Develop and enhance tools for management of virtual machine infrastructure. Create and maintain user-facing tools to automate tasks such as VM image deployment and snapshot/restore and front-end to the RHEV platform and its XML API.
Develop and enhance tools for monitoring the internal and external networks and systems.
Work with various groups within the company to coordinate and implement new tools and projects.
Develop and maintain tools and applications based on the MarkLogic Server product and related APIs and interfaces providing solutions to document and data management requirements.
Assist with data integration tasks for SaaS Applications such as SFDC, SAP SuccessFactors etc. with the MarkLogic Server.
Implement automation with data gathering and manipulation for quarterly GRC SOX audits through Excel programming or other automation tools.
1+ years scripting in Perl, Python, sh/csh, and/or other common scripting languages.
Knowledge of Amazon AWS/EC2/S3 features and functionality.
1+ years experience with big data applications and data analysis (Java, hadoop).
1+ years experience with web UI (bootstrap, angularjs, etc.)
Experience with MarkLogic Server and XQuery.
Experience with RESTful application integration.
User interface programming/user experience design experience.
