Director of Sales

We are looking for an experienced Director of Sales with a solid sales foundation built through rigorous sales training and the ability to deliver expected results in driving pipeline growth for SaaS-based deals. This role will lead one of our talented, aggressive, and high energy sales team and apply their skills and experience to drive JW Player’s growth.

In this role:

  • You will hire, develop, lead and grow dedicated new business sales representatives.
  • You will coach and motivate these teams and grow them into additional team leaders.
  • You will participate in defining and refining the sales process and key tools
  • You will define, measure and reinforce sales metrics, goals and best practices
  • You will collaborate with other managers in order to develop and evolve sales tactics
  • You will uncover the innovative difference JW existing and new solutions unlock for our prospects and customers.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years sales experience with 3+ years sales team management experience in Technology and/or SaaS industries; expertise in the digital/SaaS space in a subscription model strongly preferred
  • Experience managing a sales team comprised of varying levels of professionalism and experience in a fast-paced, high- volume, outbound selling environment
  • Proven models for coaching and development of your team
  • Ability to create, set and manage a strategic plan for your sales team and communicate with all supporting teams
  • Knowledge of how to use metrics and data as a way to support effective sales behavior as well as the health of the sales performance of your team as well as being comfortable analyzing sales data and utilizing sales tools, including Salesforce.com
  • Passion for improving global standards for customer satisfaction; desire to maintain a customer focus
  • Proven ability to partner with marketing team to convert inbound leads to paying customers
  • Results-oriented with a sense of urgency and passion for success
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • High ethical standards and level of integrity
