Your job will be to lead our mobile app release process from start to finish. You will be responsible for configuring and maintaining the CI platform that automates the testing, builds and deployments of our apps across platforms. You will also own our copy and translation process, ensuring that each release has the relevant copy content and subsequent translations created, approved and applied to the apps prior to release. The role also involves working closely with QA testers who manually test the app.

  • Keeping track of changes in every release, compiling release notes and communicating them.
  • Automating high level tests, such as smoke tests, UI tests and integration tests.
  • Configuring and maintaining CI pipelines across multiple platforms.
  • Coordinating translation work and gathering copy additions and updates for each release.
  • Working with QA testers and developers to make sure issues have been identified and resolved prior to release.
  • Submitting releases to app stores, along with screenshots, release notes and content updates.
  • Communicating with beta testers, notifying them when new releases are available.
  • Playing the release song.
  • Experience with test automation, both for services and mobile devices.
  • Experience with configuration and use of CI platforms, such as Jenkins, Travis CI, Bitrise, TeamCity etc.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking software, specifically JIRA.
  • Familiarity with translation processes and software, specifically Crowdin.
  • A collaborative nature and willingness to communicate across teams with developers, product, marketing and support.
  • Self-motivation and an ability to work well independently.
