Sales Development Managers play a critical role at LiveIntent. The Sales Development Manager is responsible for driving market share and qualifying leads that build pipeline for the sales organization.  The Sales Development Manager will also be responsible for running regional campaigns focused primarily on cold calling, developing and qualifying leads to the point of handoff to the sales force. By qualifying prospects and generating interest, you will be the first voice of LiveIntent. 

Responsibilities:

  • Articulate the Company’s value proposition to decision-makers across multiple industries to assess buying interest. Promote software solutions with various management levels and professionals across technical and business disciplines.
  • Assess the prospect's needs, explain LiveIntent solutions, qualify the prospect, and schedule meetings for your Sales colleagues to begin their sales process.
  • Using the sales methodology behind a solution oriented SaaS sale.
  • Work in tandem with Sales to research potential targets and identify key players and penetrate those targets by using creative strategies and tactics.
  • Making 30 calls per day to build and manage lead development pipeline.
  • Achieve or exceed goal for meetings set and meetings converted.
  • Provide baseline research within targeted accounts to identify key contacts and critical account information prior to prospecting call.
  • Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of the Company technology – and clearly articulate capabilities and advantages to prospective customers.
  • Provide weekly activity report to management.
  • Proactively continue company product and competitive product and market knowledge via website, on-line webinars, and marketing information.
  • Update lead status/stage and prospect interaction in SFDC throughout.
  • Attend industry conferences to generate new business and develop existing relationships.

Required Skills:

  • 1+ years of experience in a market/sales development role, or relevant degree.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Proven track record achieving measurable monthly lead development goals with a senior level audience.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, highly automated sales environment.
  • A solid understanding of what it takes to effectively manage and execute inbound and outbound prospecting strategies.
  • Ability to understand and successfully promote technical offerings and solutions sets
  • Salesforce.com savvy and familiar with marketing automation platforms.
  • Hard working, able to work independently in an entrepreneurial, start-up environment.
  • Previous experience prospecting for an Enterprise SaaS or Digital Sales a plus.
