Employee Experience Manager

Away is seeking an Employee Experience Manager to ensure that it's not only our customers who have incredible experiences, but also our team. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, energetic, positive and always looking for ways to improve the status quo. You will be the go-to person to ensure that our team is able to grow and thrive by ensuring we have a productive and comfortable workplace environment (managing multiple vendors including our cleaners, grocery deliveries, and handymen) and thoughtfully ideating around employee processes and perks (ranging from onboarding to performance reviews to team events). This position is based out of our headquarters in NoHo, New York and reports to Away's Director of Operations.


What you'll do:

  • Oversee office organization and maintenance to ensure a clean and productive environment, including managing relationships with cleaning teams, food vendors, landlord, handymen and any other teams that support the Away office
  • Welcome guests and be the first friendly face that visitors see at the Away office
  • Support onboarding of each new Away team member
  • Plan team outings and events, including birthdays, anniversaries, team lunches and the annual team trip
  • Purchase and manage inventory of office supplies, furniture, computer hardware and office snacks
  • Develop processes that scale our employee experience, including surveys, performance reviews, and innovation ideas
  • Manage expansion to new office spaces
  • Proactively think about everything that can be done to keep the company running smoothly as it grows!
